The East Kent Artists’ Open Houses exhibitions have been a cornerstone of Kent’s creative scene for over 25 years. Now welcoming more than 250 artists across 80 houses and studios, the event continues to grow in scale and ambition.
Having exhibited since the very first Open Houses with ceramist Clive Soord, I took on the challenge of designing a new website back in 2014 to support the event’s printed brochures, flyers and maps designed by graphic designer and fellow Creek Creative resident Simon Shaw.
The site has since evolved into a full digital hub. Visitors can now browse all participating houses by town, discover artist profiles with direct links to their websites and social media, and plan their visits with an easy to use interactive map.
The new design puts East Kent’s vibrant artistic community at visitors’ fingertips, making it easier than ever to explore and connect.
