Hi, my name is Neil Brown and I am the owner, web designer and photographer here at Beamtwenty3.
I have been in the creative art & design industry for over 20 years, with a BA hons degree in fine art from Kingston University.
I started Beamtwenty3 whilst at university and have enjoyed working with creative artists, business professional, tradespeople and organisations to produce content managed websites using WordPress ever since.
I’m based in Faversham, Kent and passionate about web design, photography and the creative arts in and around this beautiful part of England.
Before I went freelance and set up Beamtwenty3, I was a college lecturer in FE & HE teaching art & design, graphic design, photography and sculpture at Canterbury College. I have always enjoyed the act of teaching and have run regular workshops in digital design at my studio in Faversham and have been a supporting lecturer at Brit Kids Canterbury
I offer a range of classes and workshops in digital design, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Illustrator and photography classes, including mobile phone photography and digital SLR photography.
If you’re interested in any of these classes or workshop either here at my studio or would like to discuss workplace/location sessions then please get in touch.

I was born in Margate in 1972. After an uninspired school experience and spending my early twenties unemployed, I returned to education and spent three years at Canterbury College studying art & design. In 2001 I graduated from Kingston University with a BA(Hons) Degree in Fine Art Sculpture.
With my background in sculpture and graphic design, my photographic work explores these themes using a range of techniques from multiple and long exposures to strobe lit landscapes and architecture at night.
I am currently archiving my work in a new website and planning a solo show in the near future.
